Responsibilities- Accurately document patient information and provide exceptional patient care.
- Assist with medication management and refill protocols.
- Prepare patients for provider exams and take vital signs.
- Follow clinic protocols and directions from nursing team leaders or supervisors.
- Perform diagnostic testing, including EKGs, audiograms, and visual screenings.
- Monitor inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
- Review and assist with daily medication refill requests.
- Review EPIC triage call in basket for callbacks.
- Clean patient rooms and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Assist providers with sigmoidoscopy exams and cardiac stress testing.
- Maintain equipment and adhere to company policies.
- Regular and dependable attendance.
LVN:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited school of vocational nursing.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the State of Texas.
- Current AHA approved Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course completion card.
Staff Medical Assistant:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical Assistant experience, CNA/EMT/PCT experience, or graduation from a medical assistant program.
Preferred qualifications include six months or more experience as a Medical Assistant and knowledge of medical terminology.
