Thompson Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Continuing Care Center located on Lakeview Ave. This part-time night shift position offers a competitive pay rate, generous benefits, and a modern and high-tech environment.
Main Responsibilities:- Maintains responsibility for all nursing care administered in conjunction with the Nurse Manager
- Administers medications to residents
- Gives direct care to residents, performs treatments as indicated
- Assures that physicians orders are carried out and integrated into resident care plan
- Documents information on residents records according to policy and procedure
- Directs nursing assistants in the care of residents
- Instructs associates in the use of specific techniques
- May be required to work as Charge Nurse
- Valid NYS license as a LPN
- 1 yr. experience in Long Term Care or acute care would be preferred
- Experience with guiding nursing through the regulatory survey process
- Excellent organizational skills
- Able to work rotating weekends and holidays
$ /hour
Starting Pay:Based on experience
