Weis Markets, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating front-end scanning equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving concerns in a polite and professional manner.
  • Identify and shop customer orders in a timely fashion to ensure accurate and fresh orders.
  • Operate front-end scanning equipment and register, performing all related checkout procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, marketing promotions, and store layout to answer customer questions.
  • Ensure accuracy during transactions, collecting proper funds and maintaining proper security measures.
  • Responsible for general sanitation in the department, following cleaning schedules and guidelines.
  • Cooperate with coworkers and superiors to ensure smooth department and store operations.

Qualification Requirements

To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:

Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). No prior experience required.
