Key Responsibilities:- Assess and manage patients with various types of illnesses or trauma, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Perform triage, stabilize patients, and provide basic life support as needed.
- Administer medications, provide IV therapy, and perform wound care.
- Teach patients and families about disease management, self-care, and rehabilitation.
- Participate in cardiac arrest team and recognize life-threatening dysrhythmias.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current licensure in good standing.
- Minimum one year of recent hospital experience in the Pediatric ER.
- Current AHA BLS, PALS certification, and TNCC, NIHSS preferred.
