BOH Supervisor

Job Summary:

As a BOH Supervisor, Cook, you will be responsible for leading a team of food-service associates in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the highest quality of food, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Train and supervise food-service associates to ensure they meet company standards
• Plan, assign, and direct work to ensure efficient kitchen operations
• Appraise performance, reward, and discipline associates as needed
• Advises management on purchasing requirements to minimize waste and avoid product shortages
• Operate and clean equipment according to department procedures
• Store, label, and date food items according to policy
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply

Requirements:

Must have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Prior experience in a kitchen or food-service environment is preferred.
