Job Overview

As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing the output from multiple clip presses, ensuring the proper packing and quality inspection of finished products. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect quality of finished product to ensure compliance with established standards
  • Pack and label finished product, complete production inspection sheets, and handle all necessary documentation activities
  • Manage stock activities for assigned clip presses, ensuring efficient inventory flow and minimizing downtime
  • Ensure all established ISO work instructions are followed at all times, participating in ISO audits as requested
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to all safety procedures and protocols
  • Perform rudimentary machine maintenance activities, ensuring machine guarding is properly in place on presses before operating
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, collaborating with other Press Department employees to optimize production processes
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent required; previous experience in a manufacturing facility preferred
  • Ability to safely and simultaneously manage product from multiple clip presses
  • Strong oral communication skills and ability to work effectively independently and with others in a production team environment
  • Previous experience using standard calipers or other similar measuring equipment, and working in an ISO certified production environment
  • Previous experience working with a computerized production scheduling system
