Job Title: Manager R&D High Proteins

CareersInFood is seeking a highly skilled Manager R&D High Proteins to join our team. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for leading the development of high protein products, including powders, ready-to-drinks, gummies, and handheld snacks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of high protein products, including formulation, design, and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for R&D operations.
  • Manage laboratory operations, including inventory management and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental policies and procedures.
  • Coach and lead direct reports to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Provide technical support to production teams and ensure smooth product transitions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in formulation and commercialization, including 4 years of high protein, low carbohydrate, and low sugar products.
  • Proven track record of leading and launching projects in a CPG environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in nutritional software, spreadsheets, and quality systems.
  • Working knowledge of bench top analytical and physical testing equipment and methods.
  • Good laboratory practices, including organized data documentation and presentation.
  • Ability to design valid tests and draw conclusions.
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, and logic skills.
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to prioritize multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to identify critical path items and risks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across levels and functions internally and with third parties.
