You will serve as a vital resource for the RAI process, ensuring MDS documentation is completed in accordance with federal and Medicare guidelines. Furthermore, you will offer support and training to team members while collaborating within an interdisciplinary group to provide effective nursing care.
- Establish reference dates for MDS evaluations
- Facilitate interdisciplinary team meetings
- Guarantee MDS documentation complies with regulations
- Deliver training and support to staff
Essential Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia
MDS Certification or a minimum of one year of relevant experience
Background in resident evaluations
Understanding of the RAI process and RUG system
Familiarity with Point Click Care software
Additional Qualifications:
Preferred nursing experience in long-term care or geriatric environments
