About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional care and service to seniors. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents, supporting their independence, and promoting their overall well-being.

Job Summary:

  • Provide individualized care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, fostering a positive and supportive community.
  • Participate in creating and implementing Individualized Service Plans (ISPs), collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver personalized care.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, while promoting independence and dignity.
  • Respond promptly to resident emergencies, demonstrating empathy and compassion during challenging situations.
  • Maintain accurate records, documenting resident progress, and reporting concerns or changes in condition to supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Dedication to serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
  • A positive attitude, flexibility to perform various duties, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • A High School diploma/GED accepted, with certifications required in some states.
  • Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident's best interest.
  • Competent in organizational and time management skills, demonstrating good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
