We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of our operations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and improve QHSE management systems, processes, and procedures to support business operations under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, AS9100, etc.
- Communicate information on the QHSE Management System throughout the organization and promote HSE awareness through various communication channels.
- Prepare QHSE documentation for clients/projects as per the requirements and in consultation with the Operations team.
- Undertake QHSE inspections/audits internally and with third parties (contractors) as per the approved QMS and related procedures of the company.
- Develop, facilitate, and review QHSE risk assessments for routine and non-routine activities in consultation with the operations team.
- Record and advise QHSE key performance indicators monthly and issue reports as necessary.
- Develops, implements, and encourages the behavioral-based safety culture in the organization through safe job observations and top management inspections.
- Actively participate in the HSE incident investigations and prepare required reports in consultation with management.
- Acts as the company's representative in all regulatory QHSE meetings, committees, and seminars.
- Diligently performs any other reasonable work or related tasks at the request of his/her superior.
- Understand, implement, and follow the company's QHSE policies.
- Report any HSE incident immediately as per HSE procedures.
Requirements
- Professional Engineering Degree with education and project/services experience.
- 5-10 years of quality engineering/quality management in an ISO 9001 environment.
- Qualification in Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
- Quality Management Institute (QMI) training would be an asset.
- Previous experience in the aeronautics or automotive industry.
- Has worked as a Production/Operations/Quality and Safety Manager and/or Supervisor of a successful team and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success.
- Has strong quality and safety management skills.
- Possess strong people management skills.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Windows and Office.
- Analytical, problem-solver, optimistic, loyal, independent, and hands-on.
- Fluent in English (both written and oral). French speaking would be a strong asset.
Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 per annum depending on experience.
