Job Title: Contract Accounts Payable Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Contract Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing and managing all aspects of accounts payable, including invoice entry, check processing, and employee expense reimbursements.

Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage all aspects of accounts payable, including invoice entry, check processing, and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including ledgers, journals, invoices, and receipts.
  • Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers, maintaining accurate records and control reports.
  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
  • Participate in the month-end close process by preparing necessary journal entries and performing reconciliations.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary information and answering questions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve procedures, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with the farming team to ensure all costs are captured accurately.
  • Utilize NetSuite or equivalent ERP system to process payments, generate reports, and analyze data.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, ledger keeping, and reconciliation processes.
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects.
  • Experience in the farming industry would be a plus.
