Job Description

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our dynamic team in Denver, Colorado. As a key member of our Water West Team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions to enhance treatment processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and conducting site inspections and analyses of water/wastewater treatment systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement innovative solutions to enhance treatment processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of new technologies and processes
  • Conduct site inspections and analyses of water/wastewater treatment systems
  • Develop and maintain design documents, including process flow diagrams and P&IDs
  • Support permitting efforts with local, regional, and national permitting agencies
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations
  • Support senior engineers in project planning and execution
  • Participate in client meetings and provide technical support

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering a related field
  • Up to 3 years of prior relevant experience
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) license or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience with process modeling software and data analysis tools is a plus
