Low Voltage Business Development/Sales Representative

Role and Responsibilities
As a Low Voltage Business Development/Sales Representative, you will implement our sales strategy and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients to drive revenue growth. You will identify customer pain points, offer tailored solutions, and maintain an updated sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities progress smoothly through the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and develop relationships with assigned accounts
- Identify key influencers, budgets, and purchasing criteria across all accounts
- Collaborate with Corporate Marketing Specialists to prepare sales information and proposals for customers
- Maintain updated pipeline by entering all opportunities in CRM and advancing those opportunities through the sales cycle as necessary
- Attend and participate in weekly sales meetings to align strategies and objectives with team members
Qualifications and Education Requirements
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for the electrical design and construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Experience in limited energy sales or a related field is a plus.
Key Qualifications:
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, sales tactics, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and the coordination of manpower and resources
- Ability to develop sales goals that relate specifically to obtaining assigned goals
- Ability to understand the scope of the contract documents and the scope of the associated work to be performed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal software programs
