Job Overview

The Anne Sippi Clinic seeks a highly skilled and compassionate Caregiving Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time, non-exempt position that requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and support to our mentally ill residents.

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

  • Care & Supervision: Provide on-site monitoring, care, and supervision to mentally ill residents. Assist in the development and implementation of individualized client needs and service plans.
  • Group Activities: Assist with organizing and supervising group recreational, social and cultural activities and outings.
  • Instruction: Provide modeling and instruction for residents in daily living skills such as personal care, interpersonal relations, domestic skills, utilizing community resources, budgeting, shopping, and maintaining an orderly home environment.
  • Transportation: Help schedule and provide transportation for residents to medical, dental, and other appointments. Provide transportation for group outings.
  • Meetings: Participate in staff meetings and training activities, as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum of 18 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience providing services to the mentally ill or other populations required.
  • American Sign Language (ASL) proficiency strongly considered.
  • Valid California driver's license, reliable automobile, and good driving history, as demonstrated by DMV record check.
