Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at WellSpan Health. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, hearing, and oral motor disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine the nature and extent of their speech, language, and hearing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the patient's specific needs.
  • Provide therapy sessions to patients, either individually or in groups, to improve their communication skills.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and research in the field.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • 2 years of experience in pediatric speech therapy.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
