We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Onsite Assessor. As a key member of our Wellcove team, you will be responsible for conducting Long Term Care Insurance eligibility assessments in the comfort of our clients' homes or facilities.

As an experienced RN, you will utilize your strong interpersonal skills and technical expertise to assess clients' functional and cognitive levels of independence. Your duties will include documenting client demographics, physician information, current medications, and diagnosis lists. You will also administer cognitive screenings and document clients' ability to complete daily living tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a desire to help seniors and their families, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and computer/tablet usage.

• Conduct non-medical, observational assessments in clients' homes or facilities
• Document client demographics, physician information, and medical history
• Administer cognitive screenings (MMSE or SPMSQ)
• Document clients' ability to complete daily living tasks
• Submit completed assessment documentation within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment
• Remain available for clarifications and answer questions from AssuriCare's Clinical Review team

To be successful in this role, you must:

• Hold current unencumbered RN licensure in the state of practice
• Have a minimum of 2 years of home health experience or equivalent nursing experience serving geriatric clients
• Be willing to obtain professional liability insurance
• Have access to dependable transportation and/or public transportation
• Own a computer/tablet and internet access

This is a 1099 contract position offering supplemental income opportunities. The estimated hourly rate is $95 per assessment, with most locations within 30 miles round trip. Our network specialist will reach out to schedule an interview.
