Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in power system studies, specifying, designing, and implementing electrical power systems. This role requires excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Power System Studies: Develop comprehensive power system studies for various clients across different industries, ensuring compliance with national standards and codes.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with other engineering disciplines and specialists, preparing detailed reports, specifications, project schedules, and cost estimates to meet project requirements.
  • Design & Implementation: Specify, design, and implement electrical power systems, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability.
  • Field Inspections & Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits and field inspections to ensure electrical systems operate within established parameters.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited university.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive design and project management experience, with at least 2 years performing power system studies.
  • Licenses & Certifications: Accomplished Professional Engineer (P.E.) in North Carolina.
  • Skills & Qualifications: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, and proficiency in electrical power system software.
