Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with sanitation protocols and documentation requirements.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning of restrooms, break areas, and common spaces.
  • Collaborate with team members to clean and maintain equipment.
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment as necessary for effective cleaning.
  • Work in environments that may be warm and humid.
  • Safely handle and apply cleaning and sanitizing agents.
  • Adhere to established cleaning procedures.
  • Maintain sanitation tools and equipment in an orderly fashion.
  • Support food safety initiatives and report any concerns to supervisors.
  • Contribute to a safe work environment by identifying potential hazards.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to read and follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Basic arithmetic skills for measuring and following procedures.
  • Capability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting items up to 50 lbs.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures and humidity levels.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Previous experience in cleaning or food manufacturing is advantageous but not essential.
