Job Summary:

Aerotek is seeking a skilled MIG/Stick Welder to join our team on the 1st shift. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding steel to complete large fabrication projects. You will work closely with our engineering team to design and develop new projects, and collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and MIG/Stick weld steel to complete large fabrication projects
  • Collaborate with engineering team to design and develop new projects
  • Work with low carbon alloys and heavy plates that range in thickness from 1/2" to 1" or more
  • Use hand torches, plasma cutters, grinders, drills, and drill presses
  • Repair work on units returned by customers
