At Food Lion, we're committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience. As a Center Store Associate in our Retail Operations team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our stores are well-stocked and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a positive shopping environment by providing fast, friendly, and accurate customer service.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless store operations, including receiving, stocking, and facing merchandise.
- Adhere to company guidelines for ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning, and displaying merchandise.
- Use technology like ACIS and CAO to optimize inventory management and sales growth.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must meet minimum age requirements for specific job functions.
Work Environment:
- 100% standing time, frequent walking, and occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
- Exposure to various substances associated with cleaning and packaging materials, fresh fruits, vegetables, and household cleaners.
- Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures (hot/cold).
