Additionally, we provide sales, parts, and service for leading construction equipment brands, as well as horse and livestock trailers and heavy-duty truck outfitting in our area.
Key Responsibilities: You will be tasked with diagnosing and repairing refrigerated trailers with minimal oversight, which includes performing preventative maintenance, conducting inspections, and executing repairs on air and hydraulic brake systems, as well as troubleshooting suspension and electrical systems.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in trailer repair
- Technical expertise in major trailer systems and associated equipment
- Skilled in welding various materials including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Must provide personal tools
- Willingness to work overtime
- Ability to utilize diagnostic computers for troubleshooting and repairs
- Strong communication skills with customers and team members
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Attention to detail is essential
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and use hands effectively
- Proficient in using computers for training and work order management
- Dependable and trustworthy
- Ability to safely operate a forklift
- Capacity to retain knowledge of standard operating procedures and follow both verbal and written instructions
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets the company’s insurance requirements.
