About the Role:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director to lead our Behavioral Health team at Fairmount Behavioral Health System. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for directing the day-to-day operations, managing and developing staff, ensuring high-quality care, sound fiscal management, and maintaining a strong referral base while complying with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:- Create a culture that focuses on fulfilling the organization's mission, vision, and values.
- Manage clinical and non-clinical departments, including Nursing, Admissions, Business Development, Process Improvement, Finance, Clinical Services, Regulatory Affairs, to drive patient care outcomes.
- Ensure hospital quality metrics are achieved through sound clinical processes following accreditation and regulatory agency guidelines.
- Recruit physicians and staff in targeted specialty areas, coordinate medical staff participation in new hospital ventures, and develop new areas of medical care.
- Supervise the development of comprehensive outpatient care and ambulatory programs, build positive relationships with local industry, government, potential healthcare providers, and the public.
- Submit timely financial and operational reviews, contribute to corporate-wide strategic planning efforts.
- Communicate operation circumstances and events to supervisors and other stakeholders.
- Achieve budgeted financial objectives, manage contract negotiations and compliance with commercial payors.
- Increase revenues, maintain or decrease bad debt rates, achieve margin percentages, implement operating cost controls.
- Foster census building efforts and strategic planning.
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred.
- Currently working as a behavioral executive (CEO) at a Behavioral Health facility or as a Director of a large acute care facility with a multi-unit psych department.
- Working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations.
- Advanced knowledge of state and federal regulatory and various accreditation requirements related to behavioral health management.
- Working knowledge of operations and financial management methods.
- Ability to travel up to % of the time.
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a competitive benefits package, including excellent medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug plans, 401(k) plan with company match, generous paid time off, relocation benefits, and bonus opportunities.

We provide specialized co-occurring psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment services. Our campus borders Fairmount Park in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia.
