About the RoleThis role involves delivering high-quality patient care in a variety of medical settings, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and support. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing assessments, administer medications and treatments, and provide patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments to evaluate patient health and needs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed orders and established protocols.
- Provide patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Assist with medical procedures, including catheter care, ostomy care, and airway management.
- Conduct triage assessments to prioritize patient care in emergency situations.
- Administer injections and vaccinations as required.
- Support family planning services and provide pediatric care as needed.
- Participate in hospital medicine practices and assist with mammography screenings.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with current CPR and AED certification.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience in occupational health (OH) or related fields such as public health, community health, outpatient clinics, school nursing, or physician office nursing.
- Proficiency in medication administration, dosage calculations, and clinical procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and health information management.
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care.
