Job Title: Senior Test Engineer

Trident Systems Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the integration and testing of complex electronic systems, ensuring that they meet the required standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the integration and testing of multi-function space systems, ensuring that they meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Develop and implement test plans and procedures to verify the functionality and performance of electronic systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues and ensure that systems meet the required specifications.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior test engineers and technicians to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to improve test methodologies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in systems engineering and/or electronics testing.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware/software/mechanical interaction, implementation of customer hardware and software, and impact to requirements/performance.
  • Experience with the integration & testing of complex electronic systems.
  • Expert on environmental testing to space industry standards, including random vibration, thermal cycling, thermal vacuum, EMI/EMC, ESD and shock testing.
  • Proficiency in utilizing test equipment and instrumentation for conducting functional testing, performance testing, environmental simulations, such as thermal chambers, vibration tables, and EMC test setups.
Working Conditions:
  • Typically work is performed in an office, laboratory, cleanroom, or sometimes remote environment.
  • May occasionally work in manufacturing production facility.

The successful candidate must be capable of receiving a US Government security clearance. US Citizenship Required.
