**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, folding and hanging merchandise, and ensuring a visually appealing store display.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals, including achieving targets for units per customer and average dollar sale.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of Soffe products and communicate this knowledge to customers in a clear and concise way.
  • Build genuine relationships with customers, responding to their needs and preferences.
  • Communicate with management regarding customer concerns and employee matters.
  • Participate in merchandising activities, including shipping and receiving, recovering the floor, and ensuring all merchandise is placed in its respective area.
  • Attend and participate in floor sets, ensuring a visually appealing store display.
  • Protect store assets and inventory through an awareness of loss prevention procedures.

**Requirements**

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Minimum 1-2 years retail experience.
  • Interest in ocean-centric activities.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Ability to work store sales floor for extended periods.
  • Able to work flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift at least 30 lbs., carry, push, squat, kneel, twist, turn, reach, and bend.
  • Positive, outgoing, high-energy personality.
  • Computer skills, including operation of retail point of sale system.
