Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our team at Texas Health Allen. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for performing complex procedures, including age-related criteria and developmental considerations, and adjusting technique parameters accordingly. You will also be responsible for explaining procedures to patients or guardians/family members, positioning patients to correct anatomical areas of interest, and maintaining attention to details.

Responsibilities
  • Perform complex procedures, including age-related criteria and developmental considerations, and adjust technique parameters accordingly.
  • Explain procedures to patients or guardians/family members, positioning patients to correct anatomical areas of interest.
  • Maintain attention to details, process and manipulate images, analyze image quality, troubleshoot, make technique adjustments or repeat procedures as needed.
  • Utilize proper downtime procedures for PACS and HIS/RIS.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or nuclear medicine required.
  • Associate's Degree preferred.
  • 2 Years in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Nuclear Medicine Upon Hire Req.
  • CNMT - Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist NMTCB Upon Hire Req.
  • CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist either by the TDH or TMB Upon Hire Req.
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req.
