Role Responsibilities

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) operates under the supervision of Registered Nurses to deliver both direct and indirect care to patients and residents. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting patients and residents with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, bathing, and dressing.
  • Reporting any changes in patient and resident conditions, as well as any concerns or complaints from patients or families, to the charge nurse or supervisor.
  • Engaging in the care planning process.
