Job Summary

This National Guard position is for a IT Specialist (Policy and Planning/Enterprise Architecture), Position Description Number T6333000 and is part of the 224 ADG, National Guard. The selected candidate will serve as a Senior technical advisor to local installation information technology (IT) users in the area of policy and plan, Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) and mission assurance as related to IT systems.

Responsibilities
  • Serves as a member of the Sector's Cyber Incident Response Team responsible for assuring the availability of National Defense mission systems.
  • Assists in enhancing cyberspace capabilities to defend national interests from attack and to create effects in the cyberspace domain to achieve national objectives.
Requirements
  • GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, and/or training that has provided a basic knowledge of data processing functions and general management principles that enabled the applicant to understand the stages required to automate a work process.
  • SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience to at least the next lower grade. Experience, education, or training that approaches techniques and requirements appropriate to an assigned computer applicant area or computer specialty area in an organization.
Education

If you are using Education to qualify for this position, Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. You must provide a copy of Official Transcripts as documentation to support your educational claims.
