Cleveland Clinic Children's is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Cardiac Hospitalist Physician to join our team in the Division of Cardiology & Cardiovascular Medicine. The successful candidate will provide exceptional care to pediatric patients in our 33-bed Cardiac Care Unit, which includes 15 Pediatric Cardiac ICU beds and 18 Cardiac Intermediate Care and Step-down beds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care responsibilities and supervision of fellows and advanced practice providers.
  • Care for medically complex patients in the acute care setting.
  • Collaborate with the pediatric cardiac surgery service to provide high-quality, equitable, culturally responsive, family-centered care to infants, children, adolescents, and adults with congenital and acquired heart disease.

About the Opportunity:

The Cardiac Step-down Service cares for both cardiac medical and surgical patients, with opportunities to provide care to newborns in our NICUs and Special Care Nurseries at Cleveland Clinic Children's and our regional hospitals and medically complex patients with congenital heart disease in the outpatient setting.

Requirements:

  • Board certified/board eligible in pediatric cardiology.
  • Strong background in the care of medically complex patients in the acute care setting.
