The Clinical Educator in Nursing will perform educational assessments to determine learning needs, utilizing established standards of specialty nursing practices and clinical pathways. This role involves:
- Designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs aimed at enhancing knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes.
- Creating educational experiences for both novice and experienced staff by integrating theoretical knowledge with evidence-based practices.
- Assessing the effectiveness of educational initiatives and outcomes.
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional variable night shifts.
- Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Education, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in nursing within the designated specialty; at least 3 months of experience as a preceptor.
- Certification: BLS certification from the American Heart Association; Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or possess an active multi-state RN License.
