Position Title: Financial Services Specialist

Reports To: Senior Financial Advisor

General Purpose:

Deliver comprehensive financial guidance to clients while cultivating new business relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business prospects for Isabella Bank to achieve set sales targets.
  • Engage with clients to define objectives, assess financial data, propose financial strategies, track results, and oversee investment portfolios.
  • Collaborate with the Isabella Bank team, legal advisors, accountants, and other professionals to coordinate clients' financial strategies and meet their goals.
  • Establish connections with influential individuals to foster relationships and create a network of potential referral sources.
  • Promote bank products and services to existing and prospective clients.
  • Actively participate in community events representing Isabella Bank.
  • Guide bank personnel to enhance financial planning services available to customers.
  • Undertake additional projects as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Certification as a Financial Planner (CFP) or equivalent credential.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in the financial services sector.
  • At least three years of proven sales success.
  • Possession of Series 7 and 66 securities licenses is preferred.
Skills:
  • Proven ability to retain clients and generate new business.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
