We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Rapid Response Team at HCA Houston Healthcare West. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and responding to critical situations in a timely and effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to Rapid Response calls, Code Blue, Code Sepsis, and Code Stroke in a timely and effective manner.
- Communicate daily with charge nurses to identify high-risk patients and provide support as needed.
- Monitor surgery schedules and round on patients who are at risk for complications.
- Provide education and support to staff as needed to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Intensive Care or Emergency Department.
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
- Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course Certification.
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course Certification.
