POSITION OVERVIEW:
MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society is seeking Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Hospitalists to fulfill the increasing needs of our healthcare program.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate will be a physician specializing in Internal or Family Medicine, eager to contribute to our Hospitalist Program. The selected individual will prioritize clinical excellence and patient satisfaction, showcasing outstanding interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering strong relationships with patients and their families. Collaboration is essential, as the physician will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This is a well-established and efficient hospitalist program known for excellent patient outcomes and high physician satisfaction. The program consists of a team of over 30 hospitalists operating across multiple facilities, offering a competitive base salary.
- Schedule: 7 On / 7 Off; 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
- Competitive salary with performance bonuses
- Opportunities for outreach shifts
- Manage a reasonable inpatient volume
- Preferred skills include central line placement and intubation
- Open ICU with accessible specialist consultations
- Participate in emergency response situations
- Strong support from specialist colleagues
- Opportunities for additional shifts
- Utilization of advanced electronic health record systems
- Visa sponsorship available if required
