Mathematics Tutor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to serve as a Mathematics Tutor and Mentor for the University of New Mexico's Upward Bound Program. The successful candidate will work with high school students in a one-to-one or group setting to provide academic support and guidance in mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide structured learning experiences during after-school hours
Assist students with homework and coursework in mathematics
Ensure proper documentation of each session is filled out

Requirements:

Student must be able to work in a team and have good communication skills
Leadership skills, motivation, and a love for learning are essential
Bilingual preferred, but not required
Must be able to pass an Albuquerque Public School background check
Availability to work one Saturday a month
