Job Summary:

As a Radiologic Technologist at Piedmont HealthCare, you will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic radiographs and performing routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Position patients, select the correct protocol, and utilize all required equipment to demonstrate competence and proficiency in performing all radiological procedures on patients of all age groups.
  • Maintain competencies for all related components and accurately follow all established imaging protocols for exams being performed.
  • Provide quality age-specific care in accordance with prescribed standards and practices, and adhere to the Radiation Safety Policies and the principles of a viable dose reduction program.
  • Provide patient education and communications in accordance with prescribed standards.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R).
  • BLS certified.
