Distribution Designer

Leidos is seeking a skilled Distribution Designer to join our team in Framingham, MA. As a Distribution Designer, you will be responsible for developing construction work packages for electric distribution systems and performing 3rd party make-ready analysis using various software systems and construction standards.
You will work on designing and constructing electrical overhead systems, underground distribution systems, and analyzing existing overhead infrastructure to create remedies for telecommunication companies. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring compliance with quality control and safe work practices, as well as maintaining project scope, schedule, and budget.
We are looking for a candidate with an AS degree and 1+ years of experience in a utility performing design work. Familiarity with Pole Loading software, such as O-Calc, LD Field, SPIDA Calc, and Pole Foreman, is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Education & Experience:

Pay Range:
$55,250.00 - $99,875.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
