Tandym Group is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team in Albany, New York. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and treatment through various nursing procedures and medication administration.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and take appropriate action.
- Observe and monitor individuals with specific health needs and report pertinent findings to the Registered Nurse (RN).
- Document current health-related information in nurses' notes and/or medical records.
- Check nursing equipment as necessary.
- Assist the RN in conducting annual assessments of consumers in day programs.
- Keep medical files up-to-date and complete.
- Attend scheduled nursing and program meetings.
- Communicate effectively with service providers, program staff, administration, and other relevant parties.
- 1+ year of experience in an Acute Care, Long Term Care, Outpatient, and/or Skilled Nursing setting.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Comfortable working with Adolescent and Pediatric populations.
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills.
- Patient-centered approach.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Highly organized.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
