Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to assist our Office Manager with various financial and administrative tasks in Winthrop, Maine.

• Data Entry: Accurately input and update financial data into our systems.
• Documenting Financial Transactions: Record and maintain all financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Preparing and Filing Documents: Organize, prepare, and file financial documents in a timely and efficient manner.
• Processing Accounts Payable and Receivables: Manage and process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.

• Strong Math and Accounting Skills: Proficient in mathematical calculations and understanding of accounting principles.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Ability to Meet Deadlines: Efficiently manage time and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer Proficiency: Skilled in using computer systems and software, including MS Office and QuickBooks.
• Trustworthy: Reliable with sensitive financial information and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Organized: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Detail-Oriented: Meticulous and thorough in completing tasks and ensuring accuracy.
• QuickBooks Experience: Proficient in using QuickBooks for managing financial transactions.
