We are seeking a skilled Hydrographic Surveyor/GPS Technician to support our dredging and capping operations. This role can be based anywhere in the United States and requires travel to various sites.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in an Engineering related discipline and a minimum of three years' experience. Proficient skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Global Positioning Equipment (GPS), MS Office Suite, Trimble Machine Control, Hypack, and Dredgepack Software are required.

A competitive salary is offered based on commensurate experience, with a range of $46,000 - $60,000 annually. The company provides an extensive benefit package, including medical, dental, prescription, 401k, profit sharing, and pension plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily reporting for dredging and capping production estimates
  • Install and troubleshoot GPS equipment, cables, inclinometers, and software as needed
  • Perform single/multi beam hydrographic surveys using Hypack
  • Process survey data and present findings to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in an Engineering related discipline with a minimum of three years' experience
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Global Positioning Equipment (GPS), MS Office Suite, Trimble Machine Control, Hypack, and Dredgepack Software
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
