As a Registered Nurse at Firelands Regional Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our dialysis team.
Key Responsibilities- Implement the nursing process with patients, including carrying out physicians' orders regarding diet, medication, and treatment in accordance with Firelands standards of care.
- Perform assessments, monitor, and ensure quality care through observation and evaluation; document nursing interventions on care plans, medical records, and report findings to physicians as needed.
- Instruct patients, staff, and family members regarding treatments, nursing plans, and related patient care directed towards a safe discharge.
- Respond to emergencies; maintain availability of medications and supplies; ensure cleanliness of equipment and environment.
- Demonstrate service excellence and our Core ACE Values: Attitude, Commitment, Enthusiasm. Act as an ambassador and advocate for FRMC.
- On-call one-two times per week.
- Must have a current Ohio RN license and CPR prior to patient care experience.
- Current ACLS and Basic EKG required or obtained within 6 months of hire and remain current.
- Excellent organizational, customer service skills, and computer proficiency are a must.
