About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team at Minerva Dairy Inc. As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for testing and record-keeping of all dairy products to ensure the highest level of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct microbiological testing and sampling procedures
  • Perform in-house testing of Coliform, SPC, Yeast and Mold for Dairy products
  • Prepare and ship samples to outside labs
  • Perform sensory evaluations
  • Wastewater Sampling & Testing
  • Document and report laboratory results
  • Verify products are compliant with current specifications
  • Assist in Corrective Action/Preventive Action (CAPA) Initiatives
Requirements
  • Proven ability to deliver results
  • In-depth knowledge of Food Science and related fields
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to articulate effectively; both verbal and in writing
  • Highly personable, trustworthy
  • Proficient in operating a computer and associated applications (MS Office)
  • Possess the skill to develop and manage Excel Spreadsheets
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a food manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in a Lab environment
  • Successful track record of delivering results
  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on Biology/Chemistry
