Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Florida JFK Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using advanced equipment and techniques to produce high-quality images.
  • Regulate equipment controls and select transducers to optimize image quality and patient comfort.
  • Assist physicians with ultrasound-guided biopsies and invasive procedures.
  • Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance and patient safety.
  • Transport patients and assist with other departmental tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of diagnostic ultrasound.
  • ARDMS registered.
  • RVT or eligible and acquired within six months of hire.
  • One year of experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound, including abdomen, vascular, GYN, and small parts.
