Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
  • Measure and document vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
  • Support residents with mobility and transfers, adapting to their individual levels of independence.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment by adhering to hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with nursing and medical personnel to ensure high-quality care.
  • Monitor changes in residents' conditions and communicate these to the nursing staff.
  • Participate in the execution of care plans and rehabilitation initiatives.
  • Encourage a supportive atmosphere for residents and their families.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols to safeguard health and safety.
  • Accurately document all patient care activities in a timely manner.

Candidate Profile:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in patient care, preferably with a focus on geriatric care.
  • A genuine passion for providing patient-centered care, demonstrating empathy and fostering a respectful environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver basic nursing care, including assistance with ADLs and vital sign monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to contributing positively to the work environment.
  • Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program is advantageous but not mandatory.
