About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Therapist to join our team at Early Autism Services. As a Behavior Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing personalized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Provide direct one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting their social, emotional, and behavioral growth
  • Collect and analyze data to track individual progress and make data-driven decisions to inform treatment plans
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistent and effective implementation of interventions
  • Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on progress and address concerns
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of sessions and progress reports
  • Attend regular supervision and training sessions to enhance professional development and stay up-to-date on best practices in ABA therapy
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable
  • Registered Behavior Technician certification or completion of the 40-hour BACB modules preferred
  • Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED
  • Must have a valid driver's license, maintain automobile insurance, or have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be 18 years of age or older at time of hire
Physical Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the physical capabilities to perform the duties of the role, including walking, standing, sitting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, reaching above head, pulling, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
