At Pet Paradise Resort, we are seeking a skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services to our furry friends, ensuring they leave our resort feeling clean, refreshed, and happy.
Responsibilities:
- Groom, bathe, rinse, brush, and dry our canine and feline guests.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including consultations and explanations of services available and rendered.
- Clean and maintain the grooming room and equipment to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our pets.
- Identify external parasites and report them to the Resort Manager, Resort Assistant Manager, or the Resort Supervisor.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
The work environment at Pet Paradise Resort is fast-paced and noisy. As a Pet Groomer, you may be exposed to animals that are agitated or injured. You may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and a team lift may be required for heavier items.
Requirements:
- One year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Able to handle a variety of sizes and breeds of canines and felines safely and comfortably.
- Reliable and flexible to Resort scheduling needs, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
