Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Global Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team at Pure Power Technologies Inc. This is a full-time position with a salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing global EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. They will work closely with regional EHS teams, plant managers, and executive leadership to create and maintain safe working environments and minimize the company's environmental impact.

Main Responsibilities

  1. EHS Program Development: Develop and implement global EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  2. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations across all manufacturing sites.
  3. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments at all facilities to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks and prevent accidents, injuries, and environmental incidents.
  4. Training and Development: Design and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels, including new hire orientation, ongoing safety training, and specialized training for high-risk activities.
  5. Incident Investigation: Lead investigations of EHS incidents, including near-misses, accidents, and environmental spills.
  6. EHS Audits: Conduct regular EHS audits of manufacturing facilities to assess compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  7. Sustainability Initiatives: Develop and promote sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing the company's environmental footprint.
  8. Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze EHS data from all sites to identify trends, measure performance, and report on key metrics to senior management.
  9. Crisis Management: Develop and maintain emergency response plans for all facilities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in EHS management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of global EHS regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Travel Requirements

This role requires willingness to travel internationally up to 20 - 30% of the time to visit manufacturing sites and support EHS initiatives.
