We are in search of a talented Senior AI Solutions Engineer to join our innovative team. This role will leverage advanced technologies such as deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and robotics to enhance business outcomes and drive forward-thinking solutions. The engineer will collaborate with a diverse team to shape our AI strategy and demonstrate the transformative potential of AI through pioneering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cutting-edge solutions utilizing Large Language Models and Natural Language Processing to advance EP's AI initiatives.
  • Engage in research and development for current and future AI applications.
  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and MLOps to create production-ready AI models that align with EP's vision.
  • Train, validate, and deploy open-source models (e.g., LLAMA2, BERT, Falcon) in a production environment, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
  • Gather, analyze, and preprocess extensive datasets to optimize the performance of existing AI models.
  • Conduct ongoing research to stay abreast of the latest advancements in generative AI.
  • Fine-tune LLMs on platforms such as AWS Bedrock or GCP.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in AI model research and development for practical technology solutions, or 1-2 years of related research experience.
  • Understanding of fundamental algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Proficient programming skills in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector search techniques.
  • Strong theoretical foundation in machine learning and deep learning principles.
  • Experience in training, validating, and fine-tuning AI/ML models.
  • Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL databases, and REST APIs.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting and communicate ideas clearly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technological innovation.
