POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The primary goal of this role is to oversee the retail store team and its operations to meet financial objectives. Key responsibilities include staff management, sales enhancement, merchandising, customer service, and collaboration with other departments to optimize productivity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectively manage store personnel and operations to achieve financial targets.
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize operational tasks while serving as a key resource for problem resolution.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate store staff, providing necessary feedback and coaching to maintain high productivity levels.
  • Identify staff development needs and administer disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Meet or exceed financial goals as outlined in the approved budget.
  • Uphold established customer service standards and address customer complaints as needed.
  • Develop and execute merchandising strategies, including floor layouts and promotional displays, in line with visual directives.
  • Oversee the receiving and shipping of materials, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, receipts, and deposits, adhering to internal audit procedures.
  • Prepare work schedules for employees and manage timekeeping and personnel records.
  • Ensure the store environment is safe, clean, and orderly, addressing maintenance needs as they arise.
  • Drive on company business as required and perform additional job-related duties as necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma; some college coursework in business or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of retail sales experience and two years in a supervisory role is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Must possess reliable transportation for business-related travel.
  • A valid driver's license and appropriate insurance are required for driving on company time.
