About the Position

Fusion Medical Staffing, in partnership with TravelNurseSource, is seeking a skilled Home Health Registered Nurse to join their team for a 13-week assignment. This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated and compassionate nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a home health setting.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes, working closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments of patients and document findings in the patient record
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered and document appropriately
  • Provide medical care in the privacy of the patient's home
  • Requires driving to multiple patients' homes daily
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
Requirements
  • One year's experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least six months of recent Home Health experience
  • Current RN License
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license
  • Valid auto insurance
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
