Position Overview: Scientist I

We are seeking a Scientist I to contribute your scientific expertise in managing and executing projects within the wet chemistry division of our environmental testing laboratory.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the analysis, management, and supervision of air, water, and soil samples following established chemistry and biochemistry protocols.
  • Ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory instruments.
  • Maintain meticulous and organized records of all laboratory activities.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Capability to perform laboratory work or office tasks, remain on your feet for extended periods while conducting tests, manage exposure to strong odors, and utilize personal protective equipment when handling samples (all PPE provided by Pace).
